My first Filmfestival – my first award – first place
October 7, 2009 by ifpmI have just returned from the Bitfilm Festival in Tel-Aviv in Israel.
It was the first time, that I was invisted to a filmfestival with one of my films.
It was an online-voting award and “You are a Terrorist” gained the majority of the votes in the “Politicool” award and won the first prize.
I feel very honoured and I want to thank everyone who voted for me. The festival was a great experience.
Congratulations to all the other winners! Especially the talented Rafi Nizam who could win the first prize in the FX Mix category. We spent some cool days in Tel-Aviv together.
District 9

I was fortunate enough to see it in english during my holidays in scandinavia – I couldn’t understand the subtitles for the Aliens, but that wasn’t a problem.
I am really happy that I had the opportunity to work on this project during my time at image-engine. It’s the first feature film I have ever worked on and I learned a lot of things.
One of my Shortfilms: You are a Terrorist is becoming really famous. I got invited to three Festivals and I am also in the Top 3 of the Bitfilmfestival under the “Politicool” award. What started as a little side-project soon became my biggest hit and I already made a second political-shortfilm. This time I want to add a real english version with english language. For the future. In the coming months I will work on a really big project and I can’t wait to start. I will post updates very soon.

The Feedback and the reaction was overwhelming and so I kind of forgot my english visitors.
From now on this blog will be in english only. I will make some updates and design changes very soon.
District 9 Trailer released

I have been working on my first Feature Film Project for more than half a year now: District 9 by Neill Blomkamp and Peter Jackson. The Trailer has finally been released and can be watched here (Full HD quicktime) or on Youtube (half HD flash)

I released the new video on my website: I ly. “I ly” is danish. It means “into the shelter”. The beautiful music comes from Keine Kennen Keine from Denmark once more, who generously allowed me to put the video together with the music online.

It’s my first work which consists mostly of real footage. I got my first Videocamera last summer and some of my future work will definitely be influenced by that. I have a lot of unfinished work on my shelf at the moment, which will all be finished soon.

I have almost finished one of my current side projects. It will feature the music of Keine Kennen Keine again.
It mostly consists out of real filmed footage and there are no computer graphics in it this time.

Recording Session with Beverly Wu

I am still working on a lot of projects at the moment.
Last week I had a recording session with Beverly Wu. She is an actress from Vancouver and did some excellent voice-overs for two of my projects. I will post more news about these soon.
